Would you like the opportunity to look around a potential date’s house? A new dating show giving singles the chance to look around their prospective date’s home is coming to BBC Three. Hot Property, hosted by YouTube star and singer Yung Filly, gives contestants a sneak peek into their potential boyfriend or girlfriend’s world.

The comedy series will expand on the characters already seen in the film as viewers watch the lads encountering love, loss, peer pressure, and morality, with each episode set in the city the producers want to celebrate with these memorable characters. It was a very intensive, but really enjoyable 8 week shoot on the TV show. The support from the people of Cork when we were shooting on the streets was totally infectious; their enthusiasm and good wishes were overwhelming.
The weather didn’t always fit in with our plans, so all the team had to think on their feet a lot, and we were able to come up with creative solutions so that we could keep to schedule. While the series stays mostly loyal to the book, the screen story ended where the one on the page did. Very much to be confirmed. BBC Three became an online-only channel in February , targeting a year old audience that has increasingly abandoned scheduled linear TV programmes in favour of always-on multichannel network series from the likes of Netflix and Amazon Prime, and streams of short form social content distributed via YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat. There is a referee on hand to keep control and give advice when necessary. The first episode had contestant Chris downing a glass of red wine from the off and he had no shortage of ego although its the presenters who bring a buzz to the format as the outlandish MacManus contrasts with the more reserved Talbot. Of course the show is hard to take seriously and as it failed to become required cult viewing it only lasted one series, although its fun to see Riggle giving outrageous dating tips.

The story tracks the tender but complicated relationship of Marianne and Connell from the end of their school days in small-town west of Ireland to their undergraduate years at Trinity College, Dublin. As the book goes on, they grow up and change, but their interest in one another is undeniable. Speaking about why those two actors in particular stood out during the casting process, Abrahamson said that he was looking for two very special actors who were able to take the very nuanced and three-dimensional characters from Rooney’s book and bring them to life. Of casting Daisy Edgar-Jones as Marianne, Abrahamson said the actress brought a naturalism to the role that they were looking for.
The final step in the casting process was about how Edgar-Jones and Mescal worked together – with Abrahamson so convinced by the pair’s on-screen chemistry that he can no longer imagine anyone else playing these characters. Filming for the series began in Ireland in May Then it made sense to have some of the interiors from Sligo for example happen in Dublin as well.
